Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy services are tailored to the needs of
individual. This involves assessment, treatment and recommendations to help
participants achieve their goals and improve their physical function. Mobility
and strength assessments are completed followed by a tailored treatment and
exercise program suited to participants goals. We also provide support and
education to carers and support workers who support participants every day. Our
physiotherapists have extensive experience working with people with a range of disabilities
and chronic conditions.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapists work with people to support their
abilities in everyday functions, such as personal care, leisure activities,
work and study. Occupational therapists will work closely with participants to
establish their goals to support participation and independence. Assessments
can include that of physical daily function, cognition, the use of technology
and aids/equipment and recommendations for home modifications. Our occupational
therapists have extensive experience working with people with a range of
disabilities and chronic conditions.
In-Home Support
In-home support is an individualised service that promotes
independence of participants within their community, aids personal care and
activities of daily living, such as dressing, showering, meal preparation, home
maintenance and life administration. Our support workers provide caring and
compassionate support based on participants needs and goals.
Interpreting & Translating
Enabled care’s interpreters are professionally trained with specialist
knowledge and many years of experience. Our interpreters provide top-quality
services including phone and on-site interpreting, video remote interpreting
and written translation as required.
Community participation
Community participation is a vital part of who we are as
individuals. It allows us to enjoy doing activities for our wellbeing, leisure
and social needs. Every participant will have their own interests and
activities of interest. Enabled care provides support workers that best
understand these individual needs and help you find options in the community to
be involved in.
Community nursing
Community nurses provide support to clients who require
clinical care needs including wound care, medication support and help with
personal care such as dressing and hygiene. This service helps to prevent
disease, improve health and manage new or existing health conditions that need
nursing support.
